After obtaining my Bachelors' degree from Stanford University, I attended medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury. Along with my medical degree, I received the Reiland Award in 1981 for excellence in osteopathic manual medicine. I completed my internship at Doctors' Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, where I earned the Hoyt Trimble award for proficiency in manual medicine.

From 1982 to 1987 I was assistant professor at the Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where I taught family practice and osteopathic practice and principles. I am currently an adjunct clinical professor at Tuoro University Medical Center in Vallejo California.

For the last 35 years I have practiced osteopathic manual medicine, addressing complex neurological problems from brain injury to epilepsy. I have lectured in osteopathic medicine throughout the United States and have taught more than a dozen courses on cranial osteopathy. I regularly teach an advanced course in the treatment of victims of brain injuries and motor vehicle accidents, and am writing a book on the subject.

I have studied with some of the greatest osteopathic physicians, including Rebecca and Howard Lippencott, Robert Fulford, Herbert Miller, Anne Wales, Stanley Schiowitz, Ernest Bernhardi, Viola Frymann and Joyce Vetterlein. I am proficient in many forms of manual medicine from facilitated positional release to cranial osteopathy. As my teachers did before me, I feel strongly that I must pass on the knowledge I learned from these great physicians and from my own 40 years in practice to the next generation of Osteopathic physicians.

I began my homeopathic training in 1983 and since then have continued to study with Roger Morrison, Nancy Herrick, Rajan Sankaran, Louis Klein, Sheila Creasy, Jeremy Sheer, and Aliz Timmerman.
