Homeopathy can produce some of the most dramatic, complete, and transformative cures I have ever seen. Everything from depression, herniated discs, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, chronic ear infections, headaches, brain injuries, and severe influenzas often improve significantly and can even resolve after a person has received the appropriate homeopathic remedy. I recommend all my patients with serious medical problems receive homeopathic care.

However to be successful, a skilled practitioner must choose the one appropriate remedy from a field of 5000 remedies. Luckily many brilliant and conscientious practitioners around the world have for the last two hundred years worked hard to find the proper treatment for difficult diseases and health problems. These successful homeopathic practitioners have spread their powerful knowledge throughout the world. Furthermore the sophisticated and comprehensive computer programs have enabled many practitioners to more accurately prescribe.

To better explain homeopathy I refer to the text I recommend all my patient’s purchase: Judy and Robert Ullman’s Homeopathic Self- Care.

"Homeopathic medicines are derived from natural substances and are given in a very small, specially prepared doses to stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself mentally, emotional, and physically.

The concept of like cures like, which is the basic principle of homeopathic medicine, means that the same substance that in a larger dose can cause a particular set of symptoms in a healthy person can cure the same or similar symptoms in a person who is ill. This idea, also called the law of similars, dates back over five thousand years to the ancient medical texts of China and India. Hippocrates, in 400 B.C., and Paracelsus, the renowned medieval physician, also referred to this same idea.

Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) is the founder of homeopathy. A German physician, chemist, and medical translator, he was discouraged with the harsh, often dangerous, medical methods commonly used in his time. He sought to discover a more gentle and effective type of medicine. Hahnemann expanded the ancient idea of “like cures like” into a complete medical system for the first time.

….Homeopathy was such a successful medical innovation that it spread throughout much of Europe and to the United States as well. The growing popularity of homeopathic medicine had continued in Europe to this day. The national healthcare systems of a number of European countries, including the United Kingdom, France, and Norway, utilize homeopathic medicine….

.…The homeopathic scene advanced dramatically over the past twenty years. More books and articles have been published about homeopathy worldwide in the last five years than in the preceding fifty. There are more than one thousand medically trained homeopaths now practicing in the United States. "

A thorough homeopathic interview usually demands an hour and a half. After listening carefully to the patient I analyze their symptoms and the manner of their presentation. Sometimes I prescribe a remedy at the time of the visit, but often I take the case home and using the Kent homeopathic computer program I then study the case for one to three hours to find the best remedy.

Using a combination of osteopathic and homeopathic care, I have three cured cases of childhood epilepsy. Numerous patients with severe headaches, bulging discs, chronic back pain and brain injuries as well as many other serious illness and injuries have gotten significant relief from the homeopathic remedies I have prescribed.

I began my homeopathic studies in 1983 with The International Foundation of Homeopathy. I have also studied extensively with Roger Morrison, M.D., Nancy Henrich, P.A., Rajan Sarkaran, M.D, Lou Klein, R.S.H, Massimo Mongialavori, M.D., Sheila Creasy, Alize Timmerman, Jonathan Shore, M.D., and Jeremy Sherr M.D. .
